Outdoor Boys’ Luke Nichols Steps In For Fellow Outdoor Influencer Dealing With Family Crisis

Fans of Outdoors Boys host Luke Nichols were in for a rare treat. The outdoor influencer recently uploaded a video, stepping in for a friend dealing with a family crisis.

Nichols recently stepped in for Steven from MyLifeOutdoors. He uploaded a video there to help out his friend. Steven had to step away for the moment due to a devastating personal matter. His wife was diagnosed with cancer. Nichols chose to upload a video to help keep Steven's channel going while Steven focuses on personal matters.

For fans, it was just good to see Nichols. Earlier this year, the outdoor influencer announced he was stepping back from his own channel. Nichols was concerned about his fame impacting his family. He was also facing burnout. Since then, Nichols has only uploaded a handful of videos. The outdoor influencer felt overwhelmed by how quickly he became famous.

Luke Nichols Returns

"The sheer volume of fans trying to contact me, trying to take pictures with me, or just trying to come up to me and talk in public can be a bit overwhelming at times. My wife and I, we both have real concerns about what this will do to our family if I keep growing my YouTube channel at this pace," he said at the time. "The time to stop is before this problem gets so out of hand that my family and I can live normal lives."

But Nichols was happy to step back in front of the camera to help a friend. Nichols appears in the video titled Camping in Snowstorm With No Tent, No Sleeping Bag. He explained that he wanted to help Steven during his time of need. In the video, Nichols tackles sleeping outdoors in a snowstorm without a tent or sleeping bag.

Fans took to the comment section to praise him.

One wrote, "The GOAT came out of retirement to help a friend. What a legend."

Another wrote, "Luke, we can never thank you enough for the positive force you've been for so many people. I just wish you the best life ahead."

And another wrote, "Thank you Luke for inspiring all of us to be better fathers, husbands, and human beings. Prayers to Steven and his wife and I hope this helps a bit."

Yet another wrote, "Massive respect to Luke for doing this after retirement. We love you, man and Godspeed to my life outdoors, wife."
